Kotex invented the category, but over time it had lost cultural relevance.At the same time, the world around the brand was shifting in a more urgent direction. A new conservatism was creeping into mainstream culture.

We turned Kotex’s platform, Own Your Flow, into an act of cultural restoration. Art’s Missing Period — a campaign that uncovered censored menstrual artworks across history, put them back into public view outside major art institutions, told their stories through documentary film and created a virtual gallery where people couldexperience and support the work for themselves.
